Jacqui and I have been attending this conference since 2012.  It is either in British Columbia or Alberta.  For the first time since 2007 Doug didn’t present a paper (we were a little burnt out from TAPPI Papercon).  After the conference, and after participating in the golf tournament, we took two ferries over to Salt Spring Island.  This is on the SW corner of Vancouver Island.  Here is an interesting photo from the second ferry which departed from Crofton.  Looking west from the ferry was the Catalyst Paper mill in Crofton.
